Time to get that goal!

Blind Sports WA is running their Blind AFL training sessions, fortnightly, over eight weeks for children and young people who are blind or vision impaired aged 14 years and over.

Blind AFL is a modified version of Australian Rules Football designed to be accessible for players with vision impairments. The game is adapted to ensure everyone can participate safely and enjoyably, regardless of their level of vision.

In Blind AFL, the ball has a sound device to help players locate it by sound. The field is smaller, and teams are often reduced in size to create a more manageable playing environment. Additional modifications include tactile markings on the ground and the use of high-contrast or brightly coloured equipment.

Attendees are asked to bring a water bottle and wear comfy clothes and running shoes. Equipment will be provided.
