CliniKids is hosting their new online seminar for parents and carers raising autistic children.
The online seminar will be on Current Best Practice in Supports for Autistic Children: The Approach, Experience, and Outcomes to Strive For. In this presentation, Professor David Trembath (CliniKids Honorary Research Fellow and Professor of Speech Pathology at Griffith University) will explain:
- What best practice looks like in supporting the learning, participation and wellbeing of autistic children and their families
- The appropriate use of evidence-based supports
- What the experience of accessing supports should feel like for children and families
- What outcomes are most relevant
