Learning new skills and making music (or noise!) together

Lionheart Camp for Kids is running Drumbeat, a five-week program that uses music, psychology, and neurobiology to support children aged 8-12 years who have experienced the death of a sibling, parent, or primary carer.

The Drumbeat program aims to improve emotional regulation, enhance social skills and teamwork, and help participants understand and express emotions in healthy ways.

This program allows children to extend their understanding of their grief response and explore other areas related to adjusting to their new world following their loss.

Attendees will use djembe drums each week, and conversations, games, and activities will be used to explore that week’s theme.

If your child is a previous Lionheart program participant, they are eligible to attend.
