A unique after-school program to connect with peers
The Youth Disability Advocacy Network (YDAN) are running their weekly For Us, By Us after-school program across five weeks for young people with disability aged 12-17 years who live in Perth.
The program is created and led by young people with disability. It is designed to support young people to:
- Build connections with young peers with disability and ways to connect with the broader disability community
- Understand models of disability and language around disability
- Explore and build understanding of their disability rights and needs
- Explore disability identity and pride
