Giving your child the tools to live life with confidence
Eq Cetera Inc have launched their new after-school Horses Helping Humans program for young people aged 7-24 years. Sessions run weekly on Tuesdays during Term 2.
In a safe and supportive space, participants will work with horses (no riding needed) to build confidence, learn emotional control, and develop trust and respect. The horses help participants see how their actions affect others, giving them real-life skills that make a difference.
Participants who are eligible for the program include:
- Children and young people aged 7-12, 13-17 or 18-24 years who live, study, or work in the Metro WA and Peel Region.
- Those who may be disengaged, at risk of disengagement, or experiencing disadvantage. They may have faced illness, injury, disability, trauma, or relationship breakdowns.
- Those who may struggle with making or maintaining friendships, be vulnerable, face challenges in school, TAFE, or the workplace, be unemployed, or be at risk of offending.
