Get started with Key Word Sign
Senses WA is hosting their introductory course in Key Word Sign (KWS). KWS uses signs and natural gestures to support communication and the language development of children with communication difficulties.
During the workshop, attendees will learn:
- The principles of KWS and gesture and how this supports communication
- How KWS is different to Auslan
- Natural gestures and up to 80 signs
- To practice using speech and sign together in interactive activities
You will also leave the workshop with helpful resources.
