Support school readiness and connect with other families
Nature Play WA is running their free neuroaffirming Nature Play in the Park program across eight weeks for neurodivergent preschool-aged children and their families.
The program aims to support attendees with school readiness and connection with other families. It offers one-hour sessions per week, and sessions will be delivered by an early years educator and two nature-based, neuroaffirming occupational therapists.
Across the eight weeks, attendees will participate in:
- Open-ended play-based activities, such as sand and mud play
- Creative experiences, such as making boats and potions from natural elements
- Storytelling
- Food exploration
Each week, there is an accompanying online module including podcasts and videos with paediatricians and other subject matter experts.
The program will commence in the week of Monday, 28 July 2025.
Please note that your child does not need a formal diagnosis to participate.
