Maximise learning and well-being outcomes for autistic students
Positive Partnerships is running their Schools and Families Together workshops over two days. Day two is specifically for schools and families raising school-aged autistic children.
This workshop provides an opportunity for shared engagement and learning which builds and strengthens teacher and family relationships.
When a trusted and positive relationship exists between home and school, it significantly improves the learning environment that can be created for autistic students and provides opportunities for good learning outcomes.
The broad overview of topics covered include:
- Exploring the strengths of the partnership and students
- The diversity of autism and practical strategies
- Working together between home and school
- Action planning and practical tools
