Is your child ready to be a scientist?
Bunbury Public Libraries is running two free programs for children who want to learn through STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) with hands-on experiences and sensory play.
Sessions for each program run weekly during the school term and are located at the Bunbury Public Library.
Little Explorers (aged 18 months-4 years)
Encourages learning through play. Children learn to investigate, experiment, and answer questions through activities that stimulate the senses, movement and balance.
Date: Commences Monday, 21 July 2025
Time: 10:30am – 11am
STEAM Junior (aged 4-8 years)
Invites children to have fun while experiencing a range of STEAM-based activities such as creating exploding volcanoes, constructing towers, and exploring their imagination through hands-on learning.
Date: Commences Tuesday, 22 July 2025
Time: 3:30pm – 4:15pm
Please note that bookings are not required, please arrive a few minutes prior to the session time. Parents are welcome to stay and chat with other parents after each session.
Children under 12 years must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult at all times during sessions. Visit Child Supervision in the Library for more information.
