To check how things are going, provide a listening ear together with information and resources to help you navigate the system.
Emergency care packs
Free care packs of toiletries and practical items for families with a child who is an emergency admission or who are unable to leave their child’s bedside.
A place to regroup
Warmth and understanding in the Family Resource Centre with comfortable seating, nursing and change facilities, kitchenette, toys and books.
Guidance and support
One-on-one support from a Peer Navigator to help you navigate and connect to other families and the services and supports your family needs.
Connection to other families
Connection to other families of children with similar diagnoses, ages or development stages, also at the hospital or within the vast Kiind community.

Useful information to help you navigate the health and disability systems and successfully advocate for the needs of your child and your family.
The Kiind team is located on the ground floor in the Family Resource Centre of the Perth Children’s Hospital.
Why not drop in and see us. We’re open from 9am to 4pm, Monday to Friday (except public holidays).
