Starting the conversation on regional issues
The Carers Advisory Council recognises that carers in regional Western Australia experience significant and unique challenges accessing information, advice, services, and support.
The Geraldton Carer Conversations Forum session is designed to provide a safe forum for carers, and the agencies supporting them, to express their concerns and identify local solutions on the unique issues that carers in the region encounter.
Data and feedback obtained in this session will be provided to the Minister for Community Services, the Hon. Sabine Winton MLA, and used to develop a further understanding of challenges faced by parents of children with disability.
Parents and carers, government agencies, and service providers are welcome to attend.
Kiind CEO, Carrie Cark will be attending this event as part of the Carers Advisory Council.
