Understanding bodies, boundaries, and belonging
SECCA is hosting its Sexuality and Disability workshop for parents and carers.
This interactive workshop will provide attendees with practical tools to support and affirm the rights of people with disability in relationships and sexuality.
Topics that will be covered during the session include:
- What is sexuality?
- What is disability?
- Common values, attitudes, and myths
- Relationship and sexual rights
- Supported decision-making
- Best practice sexuality education
- Taking a trauma-informed approach
Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided.
Please bring your own lunch and water bottle. There will be a fridge and microwave available for use.
