See WA’s best musicians behind the scenes
The West Australian Symphony Orchestra (WASO) is hosting three free live music events this year as part of their Connect program for adults with disability.
The Connect program provides accessible chamber concerts and exclusive access to WASO’s orchestra performances for attendees to relax, have fun, and experience classical music.

June Open Rehearsal
Peek behind the curtain and watch WASO musicians prepare for their afternoon performance. Be moved by Sibelius’ portrait of a mystical swan before visiting Dutch conductor, Otto Tausk, who will lead attendees through the sweeping passion of Brahms’ Third Symphony.

August Open Rehearsal
Led by WASO’s Principal Conductor Asher Fisch, attendees can see behind the scenes of Dvořák’s New World Symphony. From its soulful Largo to its stirring finale, Dvořák’s masterpiece will captivate listeners with every note.

December Chamber Concert
