Caring for others and yourself
Researchers from the University of Canberra are collaborating with Carers Australia and the Department of Health, Disability, and Ageing to gather feedback from parents and carers across Australia.
The survey is open to all Australian residents aged 14 years and older and aims to help researchers better understand the needs of carers.
The results from the survey will be used by Carers Australia to support their work advocating for carers and by the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing to inform their delivery of services to carers.
Participation in this survey is entirely voluntary. All survey participants can enter the prize draw to win one of 13 prizes worth a total of $5,000.
You can also complete the survey in Mandarin, Arabic, Punjabi (Gurmukhi) and Farsi.
The survey closes on Monday, 4 May 2026.
