The school holidays just got deadly

The City of Armadale and Champion Centre are hosting their NAIDOC Festival and invite children and families of all ages and abilities to join them.

This community event celebrates Aboriginal culture through live performances, interactive activities, and plenty to explore. With a packed program, there’s something for everyone at this year’s festival.

Here’s what to look forward to:

  • Welcome to Country
  • Smoking ceremony
  • Traditional dance performances by Mungart Yongah Nyoongah Arts
  • Live on-stage entertainment by Rhythm Tide (presented by Boss Arts Creative) and The Brothers
  • Face painting and petting zoo
  • Climbing walls and bungee trampolines
  • Information stalls and giveaways
  • And so much more!

Kiind will also be attending the event as a stallholder. Come along and bring the whole family for a day of connection, culture, and fun.

There will be ACROD bays and accessible toilets available. Seating will also be available during performances. Most event areas are accessible via paved pathways; however, some activities and stalls may be located on grassed areas.

Please note that a smoking ceremony will take place on the day and may produce strong aromas. Live music, performances, announcements, and general crowd noise will occur throughout the day.
