Understanding the options as adulthood approaches
When your child approaches adulthood, questions about decision-making and legal responsibilities can feel daunting. Developmental Disability WA (DDWA) is hosting an introductory workshop to help families understand guardianship, administration and the options available when a young person turns 18 and beyond.
The session will explore legal capacity, powers of attorney, enduring powers of guardianship and the role of the State Administrative Tribunal. Presenters Leticia Grant and Teresa Pracilio will provide practical information to help families make informed decisions.
Refreshments will be provided.
