Enjoy a calm, welcoming day with horses
Eq Cetera Inc. is hosting a Have a Go Day for people of all abilities to learn about and try equine therapy.
Spending time with horses can help improve muscle tone, balance, and coordination, while also supporting riders’ confidence and emotional wellbeing.
Meet friendly horses, watch a real class, and have a go at riding with support from trained staff.
There are three tickets to choose from:
- Have a Go Ticket – for people with disability who want to ride
- Observer Ticket – for carers, parents, support workers, and family members.
- Car Space Ticket – one per vehicle
Please note that riding sessions are 5-10 minutes long. Riders will be helped to mount using ramps, led around the arena, and safely dismounted. Priority will be given to people with disability.
Siblings may have a chance to ride if time allows, but this is not guaranteed. Morning tea will be provided to observers.
The venue is wheelchair accessible, with accessible toilets and parking.
