We’re back with a brand-new episode of Kiind Conversations, and this one’s extra special as we welcome our very first guest, Rachel Callander!
Rachel is an acclaimed speaker, author, and artist who draws on her lived experience to help families, healthcare professionals, and therapy providers build strong, collaborative partnerships.
Our work with Rachel goes way back to 2019 where we collaborated on the Super Power Kids project, a book and photography exhibition celebrating the unique strengths of children with disability.
Now, Rachel joins Kiind Conversations host, Teresa and Peer Navigator, Sharon with a similar message. She’s here to encourage parents and carers to embrace the power of positive language to build strong relationships with their child’s support and medical teams.
Along the way, Rachel also shares some heartfelt personal stories and practical tips to help parents and carers advocate for the needs of their whole family.
