After nearly a decade, we are announcing that Kiind’s CEO Carrie Clark is stepping down.

Carrie leaves Kiind in a strong and sustainable position, and we would like to thank her for nearly 10 years of service and the significant growth she has led.

We’ve seen a substantial increase in membership, an expansion of our services, and a growing impact in systemic advocacy. All to ensure that families raising children with disability are well-supported to lead fulfilling lives in inclusive communities.

With deep and trusted connections across the sector with organisations, professionals and families alike, we know that Carrie will be missed by many. From all of us at Kiind, we send Carrie our most sincere thanks and wish her every success for the next chapter.

Carrie has created a strong foundation for Kiind, and we’re excited to build upon this as we continue to deliver meaningful supports to almost 7,000 Western Australian families raising children with disability, autism, and developmental delay.

We are currently recruiting for a new CEO and expect to make an appointment in the coming months. Carrie will be staying for the transition and onboarding of new leadership, ensuring strong continuity. There will be no disruptions for our members or work with partners.

From Kiind Chair, Cristian Rapanaro

“Carrie’s work as CEO speaks for itself in terms of how much Kiind has grown over the past decade, and how well the organisation is currently positioned. This is not an immediate goodbye as Carrie will be staying with us to manage the transition and onboarding of our new CEO. However, we wish Carrie all the best in her future endeavours.”

From CEO, Carrie Clark

“My decade at Kiind has been incredibly fulfilling, and I’m very proud of what we’ve achieved and the impact we have created. I am pleased to have helped transform Kiind into a strong sustainable organisation that supports thousands and is a powerful voice for children with disability and their families.

I look forward to working with the new CEO to help manage the transition, and I thank you for your continued support of Kiind as we enter this new chapter.”

We thank our members and supporters as we navigate this transition and embark on the next phase for Kiind.
