It’s that time of year again, where we reflect on the achievements and impact Kiind has made to both the disability sector and to the lives of the thousands of families we support.
Amidst significant service reforms including the NDIS Review, our 2024 Annual Report details how Kiind has continued to support families by delivering navigation, peer support and capacity building programs, and systemic advocacy projects through our Peer Worker Model.
Following our 2024 Annual General Meeting, we bid farewell to long-standing Board member, Dr Jenny Downs, and Simon Corrigan who made significant contributions to Kiind as the previous Chair. We sincerely thank them for their hard work and years of dedicated service to Kiind and the families we support.
We are excited to welcome new Board members: Katherine Elmer-Gray who brings a wealth of lived experience as a parent of children with disability; Vicki Bosworth, a passionate and skilled people manager; and Dr Jemma Hogan who specialises in both medical administration and paediatric medicine. Additionally, we congratulate Nicole Butler who was re-elected for another term as Vice-Chair.

We are proud of the work Kiind has accomplished this year in our mission to walk with families, amplify their voices and empower them with the knowledge and connections they need to advocate successfully for their children and their families.
Our thanks and gratitude go to the individuals and organisations who have contributed to this successful year, including our wonderful families, supporters, Board, staff, and volunteers.
