We’re excited to welcome you back to the Kiind podcast channel, this time with a brand-new sub-series, Kiind Stories.

As part of our original Kiind Conversations show, Kiind Stories shines a light on the everyday experiences that shape our community. Through these stories, we’re creating a space where people can speak openly, connect through shared experiences, and be reminded that they are never alone on their journey.

For our very first episode of Kiind Stories, we’re honoured to be joined by Sew Choo Loh. Sew Choo is a Kin Disability Advocacy Ambassador, a Kiind member, and a mother of three.

In this episode, Sew Choo shares her journey of raising a young person with a late autism diagnosis. She speaks about the challenges of being part of a culturally and linguistically diverse community in Australia, facing unfamiliar systems, experiences of racism, and the cultural stigma surrounding disability.

Through it all, Sew Choo reflects on how these experiences shaped her path toward becoming a passionate advocate for her family and others like them.

Joining us for this episode is Teresa, who you’ll recognise as the host of Kiind Conversations. In her final episode with us, Teresa will be guiding the conversation.
