As our membership grows to nearly 7,000 families raising children with disability, we are taking a moment to reflect on our achievements over the last financial year, as detailed in our 2025 Annual Report.

Read along to find out more about the progress Kiind has made towards our strategic goals and the highlights and impact from our service delivery – now backed by evidence.

This includes:

  • The findings from our independent support model evaluation with RMIT University, which shows that support from Kiind leads to improved outcomes for both parents and children.
  • How we strengthened our Pathway Planning sessions and fostered a new communities of practice with the Department of Communities’ Community Inclusions Connections Team (CICT).
  • How we innovated the delivery of peer support and capacity building to families, including our Parent Training Workshops and the launch of our podcast, Kiind Conversations.
  • The systemic advocacy work we did to ensure that the voices of children with disability and their families are heard during this time of significant reform.
  • Plus, you’ll also receive insight into some of our exciting plans for next year, including delivering outreach in the communities of Armadale, Mirrabooka and Kalgoorlie, made possible thanks to the Stan Perron Charitable Foundation.
