Explore carer stories through creativity and connection
Carer Allies is hosting their Carer Community Creative Workshop, ‘Stories We Carry’, and invites parents, carers and kin to join them.
The Stories We Carry workshop provides a space for attendees to explore their stories through creativity and connection. Attendees will be able to share their experiences, reflect on the role carers play every day, and co-design a scarf that tells their collective story.
During the workshop, attendees will:
- Meet other carers in a welcoming, supportive environment
- Listen and share stories
- Contribute ideas, colours, symbols and messages for the community awareness scarf
- Enjoy refreshments and meaningful conversation
- Receive a completed co-designed scarf as a thank you for participating
