Helping families understand their child’s development

Parenting Connection WA is partnering with Greenhouse Paediatrics to host two free workshops for parents and carers raising children aged 0–8 years who may be showing signs of developmental delay.

As part of the Greenhouse Paediatrics Kaleidoscope program, these workshops aim to help families build a community of support around their child. No diagnosis is required.

Kaleidoscope’s team of allied health clinicians will be heading to the Collie Valley Child and Parent Centre to connect with parents and carers residing in or around the South West region.

How to Bring the Team Together to Support Your Child:

This session will provide an overview of what supports are available for children with autism and/or developmental delay. It will also cover the common challenges experienced by families and provide practical strategies to bring the team together to create one shared plan.

Understanding and Supporting Young Children with ADHD

This workshop is designed to help parents and carers better understand ADHD through a neuro-affirming lens, focusing on strengths and practical strategies that support connection and participation.
