Explore practical ways to support your child’s unique strengths

The Midvale Hub Parenting Service is hosting their Bringing Up Great Kids program across three weekly sessions for parents and carers raising neurodivergent children and young people aged 0-18 years.

Families who are living in the local government areas of Mundaring, Swan, Bassendean and Bayswater are invited to attend.

The Bringing Up Great Kids program aims to support parents and carers on their journey, helping them build understanding, connection, and confidence in supporting their child’s unique strengths and needs.

Alongside other families navigating a similar journey, attendees will:

  • Learn about brain development and how it relates to the experiences of neurodivergent children and young people
  • Explore the messages of behaviour through a compassionate, neurodiverse lens
  • Practice ways of giving nurturing and supportive messages that help children and young people feel safe, understood, and valued
  • Share strategies for looking after ourselves while parenting, and celebrate the unique strengths children and young people bring

After you express your interest, a staff member will call you 2–3 weeks before the program starts to complete a simple registration and address any questions or needs you may have.

Crèche bookings are available for babies aged six months and under. To book a crèche, click here, or call 9208 2400
